Sensor / Actuator combination
for motor control

The SIENNA SAM2 Modul combines the SM3 sensor and the AM2 actuator in a single module. SAM2 has 2 inputs for a blind-control switch and 2 outputs for motors with current ratings upto 3A. The outputs are latched so that only one output can be active at any time. 1s interval while switching between outputs. Run time can be set with SIENNA Professional oder SIENNA Home Connect (Default 120s).

Potential-free switching elements necessary (Low voltage inputs)!

Three flexible wires for connecting to a switch.
L1, N, L2 for connecting to motor; one relay each to switch L1, L2 (Up, Down) up to 3A. Actuator switches off automatically for motor loads > 3A.
N is bridged to the neutral of the power supply.
 Motor runs to end position; stops if switch is reactivated.

 Mode for setting the slat angle of a blind / shutter.

 Motor runs only when switch is kept activated.

The SIENNA SM3 sensor has 3 binary inputs (internal 5V) for connecting to a 2-gang or 3-gang switch (Blind, Shutter: Up, Down, Stop). Centralized switching functionality (Master-On, Master-Off) can also be implemented with SM3.

Three binary (internal 5V) inputs (blue, red, orange, yellow).

Blue common ground

Red / Orange Up (Master switch: On) / Down (Master switch: Off)

Yellow depends on operating mode

The SIENNA SM3G sensor has 3 binary inputs (internal 5V) for connecting to a 2-gang or 3-gang switch (Blind, Shutter: Up, Down, Stop). Centralized switching functionality (Master-On, Master-Off) can also be implemented with SM3G.

Potential-free switching elements necessary (Low voltage inputs)!

The SM3G sensor switches actuators which have consecutive group addresses (e.g. g = C switches actuators in groups C & D). The second group is switched with a time delay of 1s.

Three binary (intern 5V) inputs (blue, red, orange, yellow).
